2010 Digital Book Printing Forum - June 9 (London, UK)

ALPSP is one of the supporting organizations of the 2010 London Digital Book Printing Forum which has been organized by market and technology research company INTERQUEST and will take place on June 9, 2010 from 9:00 to 17:00 at The Royal Society in London, UK.


The event is designed around recent INTERQUEST research into digital book printing and as part of the event INTERQUEST analysts will present key results from the company’s new study, Digital Book Printing: Market Analysis & Forecast, 2010-2015. The full programme is now online.

Copyright for Publishing Professionals - online seminar

For the first time ever ALPSP – in cooperation with the Copyright Clearance Center – is running an online seminar. The seminar will take place on Thursday 17 June 2010 from 2-3pm EST (9-10am BST).

Presenters Dru Zuretti (Manager of Copyright Education) and Ed Colleran (Senior Director, International Relations) will focus on the basics of US copyright law, including a copyright holder's privileges and obligations, and when permission may be required. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in a question and answer session for clarification on some of the nuances of copyright they may encounter in their everyday work.
